I'm a little late with this one! This is the fourth instalment in the My Favourite Things challenge hosted by Kelly over at Ooh La La Polish!
Once again I struggled. I considered something chocolatey. Then I decided on something Mexican. I was originally going to do a fajita, but I couldn't figure out how to make to chicken strips look realistic... So anyhoo, I settled on a Mexican-inspired manicure, and pinched this idea from Nicole at The Color Republic.
So here you go, my favourite food inspired manicure.
I used all Barry M polishes here - Spring Green, Bright Red, Lemon Ice Cream and Matt White. I should've used an extra coat of the red and green, I can only apologise for the VNL. Yuck. But the chillis are cute at least :)
Next up in the challenge (and I will actually post this one on time!) is polka dots!
These are so cute and bright - I love them!! Go Bright or Go Home!!!
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness I love this! This is so festive and bright. Your hand drawn peppers are awesome :)
ReplyDeleteThey're so easy to do, just one sweep with a little brush :)
DeleteToo cute. The peppers are perfect!
ReplyDeleteOoooh, I love it! I love mexican food too.
ReplyDeleteTo be honest, instead of doing my food manicure yesterday, I prepared a mexican feast for my family. It was yummmmyyyyyy!
DeleteSo cute :) Love spicy food :)
